Job Description

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from conceptual through hard bid
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop detailed scopes of work
  • Lead or support preconstruction efforts including budgeting, value engineering, and bid preparation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local clients, consultants, and trade partners
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the Nevada construction market
  • Collaborate closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure seamless project handoff
  • Support business development efforts through networking, client meetings, and market intelligence

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial GC experience in construction estimating
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and local subcontractor markets
  • Existing relationships within the Nevada construction community is highly desirable
  • Comfortable operating in a hybrid role that blends estimating and client-facing BD work
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment
