Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment on budgets and timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks during the preconstruction phase.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate pricing.
  • Develop and present project proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends to ensure competitive and accurate estimating.
  • Support the transition from preconstruction to active project management.

A successful Preconstruction Manager / Estimator should have:
