This is an opportunity to join an organization where experienced construction professionals can make a meaningful impact and play a key role in the success of high-profile projects.Job DescriptionLead and oversee preconstruction activities for large, complex, and/or multiple concurrent projects.Direct estimating, bidding, scheduling, contracting, and preconstruction strategy.Lead, mentor, and develop preconstruction team members.Partner with operations and division leadership on team assignments and project strategy.Develop project budgets, estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies.Evaluate plans and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and constructability concerns.Lead subcontractor and vendor bidding, scope review, leveling, and negotiations.Provide guidance on value engineering, cost management, and risk mitigation.Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Ensure projects transition from preconstruction to operations with clear scope, budget, schedule, and execution strategies.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. They will be an experienced leader with a strong understanding of construction estimating, scheduling, contracting, and project delivery, combined with excellent communication, delegation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
