Job Description

The Process Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Lead capital equipment projects from concept through installation, validation, and commissioning.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and process improvements.
  • Optimize production processes to improve quality, productivity, equipment utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Drive cost reduction and scrap reduction initiatives through process improvements and equipment enhancements.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance data and develop solutions to improve throughput and reliability.
  • Support workplace safety and ergonomic improvement projects.
  • Investigate root causes of manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop process documentation, work instructions, operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment, technologies, and process changes.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to achieve facility performance goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing, Production, or Process Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading equipment implementation, process improvement, and CAPEX projects.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and process optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated success improving productivity, reducing downtime, and enhancing product quality.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical and operational data and translate findings into measurable improvements.
