Job Description

  • Lead/participate in projects to improve processes, reduce downtime, and improve safety
  • Perform time studies and line balancing
  • 3D modeling for the design of plant floor layouts and setup of new machine cells
  • Implement new machinery and tooling for production as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality and Product Engineering to support new product launches, perform PFMEAs, and address production issues
  • Play a key role on APQP team, ensuring feasibility and quality of manufacturing new products
  • Assist with value stream mapping

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred
  • 1-2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, exposure to electromechanical assembly is a plus but not required
  • Experience leading and/or participating in continuous improvement projects
  • Comfortable/familiar in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards and regulations
  • Exposure to new product launch projects, including APQP is a plus
  • Safety background
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Base salary $75,000-$90,000 depending on level of experience
