Job Description

  • Lead process improvement and cost reduction initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage engineering projects, including equipment implementation, process enhancements, and production optimization efforts.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to maximize uptime, productivity, and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and manufacturing standards.
  • Investigate quality issues through root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve material quality, reduce costs, and support equipment selection decisions.
  • Create and deliver training programs related to new processes, procedures, and operational improvements.
  • Support product development efforts by coordinating prototype builds, process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable results.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 1-2 years of process improvement experience
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related tools is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, process validation, SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with testing equipment, data analysis, and technical documentation is advantageous.
