Job Description

  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve operational performance.
  • Develop new manufacturing workflows from initial concept through production launch and qualification.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including routers, bills of materials, and process instructions.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and process performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support production teams by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement best practices, standardized work methods, and process controls.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and support a strong safety-first culture.
  • Perform process assessments, collect measurements, and evaluate production performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve overall production outcomes.
  • Maintain organized work practices and support workplace housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in special projects and additional engineering initiatives as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Associate degree or higher in a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Experience within mechanical or manufacturing engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, preferably NX or similar software.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.
  • Understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, specifications, and production requirements.
  • Familiarity with heat treatment, plating, surface finishing, and other external manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of workholding, fixturing, and inspection methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
