Job Description

  • Daily review of GL cash balances vs bank statements.
  • Generate summary of breaks across currencies.
  • Investigate break with operations/IT/finance.
  • Month end review of cash balances vs statements.
  • Manage cash and product control operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Assist in process optimization and implementation of best practices in cash/product control.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cash/Product Controller should have:

  • Product Control/Operation experience with fixed income products.
  • Knowledge of cash processes.
  • 3-5+ years of product control experience.
  • High proficiency in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables).
  • Accounting of Finance degree.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
