Job Description

The Product Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Lead new product development projects from concept, design, and analysis through validation, testing, and production launch.
  • Develop innovative hose, coupling, and related engineered product solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Create and modify product designs using CAD software, engineering calculations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish assembly methods, tooling requirements, and production processes.
  • Support sales and customers by providing technical expertise, product recommendations, and application guidance.
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and performance analysis of new products.
  • Investigate product failures, analyze field performance, and implement design improvements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, evaluate results, and make recommendations for product optimization.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support applications, identify opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience designing fabricated or assembled mechanical products.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design principles.
  • Strong understanding of material properties, failure analysis, and product testing methodologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with prototyping, validation testing, and product commercialization.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customers.
  • Hands-on engineering mindset with a passion for developing innovative products and solutions.
