Production Manager - Medical Device Manufacturer

• Lead daily production operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Promote a safety‑first culture by managing Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), Job‑Specific Training (JST), retraining, and documented safety conversations.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to implement procedures, corrective actions, and audit readiness.
• Ensure effective containment and escalation of non‑conforming product and drive process consistency to reduce scrap, rework, and expedited freight.
• Oversee start‑ups and set‑ups, ensuring clear accountability across shifts.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to resolve operational challenges, support on‑time delivery, and create action plans aligned with customer and facility goals.
• Communicate daily expectations to supervisors and track progress toward safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets.
• Support budgeting and long‑range planning, including staffing and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Develop and coach supervisory and technical teams through regular feedback, goal setting, and talent development activities.
