Our client is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead the operation of our packing lines, paint lines, rivet operations, hydraulic press and roll-former operations, and robotic steel welding cells. This role requires a leader with self-initiative and who demonstrates strong attention to detail. This role will be from Monday - Thursday from 4:30pm - 3:00am.

About Our Client

Our client designs, manufactures, and distributes steel storage products such as shelving, racks, cabinets, lockers, and workbenches for homes, garages, warehouses, and commercial facilities. Its products are sold through major retailers, e-commerce channels, and industrial distributors across North America.

Job Description

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to communicate information, expectations and feedback in both written and verbal mediums
  • Proven leadership in one or more of the following areas; steel punching, roll forming, welding, dip and powder paint lines, automated and manual packing line environments.
  • Assist with production inspection process for all operations
  • Experience maintaining safety standards of equipment and work area
  • Understanding of ERP systems a plus

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience managing teams of 30+ people
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience (steel preferred)
  • Understanding of continuous improvement/LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Proven experience coaching/developing team members
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with manufacturing
  • Strong technical/computer skills
