Job Description

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily production activities, ensuring operational objectives are achieved while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This individual will oversee personnel, monitor departmental performance, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and implement improvements that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to maximize team performance and engagement.
  • Monitor departmental metrics and visual management systems to achieve productivity, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, process inefficiencies, and safety concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with quality and operations teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives while managing priorities, schedules, and resource allocation.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a proven manufacturing leader with strong experience managing production teams in a fast-paced industrial environment. They will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, along with a demonstrated track record of improving operational performance and developing employees.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of production supervision experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating production personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, manufacturing systems, inventory management software, and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance quality, productivity, safety, cost control, and employee engagement initiatives.
