Employees are empowered to take ownership of their work, contribute ideas for improvement, and develop professionally within a culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, and doing the right thing.Job DescriptionLead, motivate, and develop production employees to achieve operational goals.Drive performance related to quality, productivity, safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction.Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed departmental objectives.Monitor key performance indicators and utilize visual management tools to track results.Identify production bottlenecks, equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety risks, implementing corrective actions where necessary.Partner closely with quality teams to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.Provide coaching, training, and support to production personnel, leads, and setup technicians.Ensure staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation align with production requirements.Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support daily manufacturing operations.Prioritize departmental activities to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and operational performance.Communicate production goals, expectations, and improvement opportunities clearly to team members and leadership.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
