The business values continuous improvement, teamwork, and high ethical standards, empowering employees to make meaningful contributions while supporting customers across a diverse industrial marketplace.Job DescriptionLead, coach, train, and supervise second-shift fabrication personnel to achieve operational objectives.Direct daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and labor utilization targets are met.Manage workflow, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization to maintain efficient material movement throughout the department.Identify, implement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance and departmental effectiveness.Develop and manage departmental budgets while controlling production and maintenance-related costs.Collaborate with planning, engineering, sales, business development, and production teams to support operational goals.Monitor production schedules, inventory accuracy, attendance records, and workforce planning activities.Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace procedures, labor agreements, and applicable regulations.Support problem-solving initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
