Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsJoin a Growing and Stable Food ManufacturerMake a Visible Impact and Advance Your CareerAbout Our ClientOur client is a growing confectionery and food manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality products while maintaining a strong focus on food safety, operational excellence, and employee development.Job DescriptionProduction OperationsLead daily production activities to ensure schedules are met safely and efficiently.Coordinate staffing, workflow, materials, and equipment to achieve operational objectives.Monitor production performance and make real-time adjustments to maximize productivity.Track key metrics including output, labour efficiency, downtime, waste, and schedule attainment.Work closely with planning, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to support operational success.Ensure products are manufactured according to established specifications and procedures.Quality & ComplianceMaintain compliance with all company quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.Verify production documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.Investigate quality concerns, production deviations, and process failures.Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve performance and reduce recurring issues.Support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.Promote a culture of quality and accountability throughout the operation.Equipment & Facility SupportPartner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.Coordinate planned maintenance activities to support operational requirements.Assist with troubleshooting production issues and identifying root causes of equipment-related challenges.Ensure production areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised condition.Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupervise, train, coach, and develop production employees and team leads.Conduct performance discussions and provide ongoing feedback to employees.Manage attendance, shift assignments, and workforce planning activities.Promote employee engagement, accountability, and teamwork.Lead daily shift meetings focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational goals.Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.Continuous ImprovementAnalyse operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement.Lead initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, efficiency, and cost savings.Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement programs.Drive sustainable improvements through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
