Job Description

  • Lead daily production activities and ensure schedules are completed efficiently
  • Monitor operational KPIs including schedule attainment, labor efficiency, waste, yield, downtime, and quality performance
  • Coordinate closely with planning, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Lead and develop production personnel through coaching, training, and accountability
  • Manage staffing, attendance, cross-training, and shift coverage
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food safety standards
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and minimize equipment downtime
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput improvement, line balancing, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Supervisor should have:

  • Food manufacturing experience required
  • Prior leadership experience within production operations
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, Lean principles, root cause analysis, and process improvement
  • Experience with FIFO, lot traceability, food safety, and quality systems
  • Proven ability to improve operational performance while maintaining product quality



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confectionery, chocolate, or snack manufacturing experience
  • SQF, HACCP, or Food Safety certifications
  • Continuous improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including medical coverage, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and company holidays to eligible employees.
