Job Description

  • Manage multiple customer programs simultaneously, ensuring contractual commitments, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives are achieved.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and execution strategies to successfully deliver program objectives.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external customers to ensure alignment on expectations, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage program budgets, including labor, materials, travel expenses, and outsourced services.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure collaboration, accountability, and successful execution.
  • Resolve customer concerns and address issues proactively to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable company procedures, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee project closeout activities and ensure all documentation and contractual requirements are completed accurately.
  • Identify opportunities for additional business, contract expansions, and follow-on work with existing customers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering background preferred.
  • 5-10 years of program or project management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success managing schedules, budgets, project reviews, and program execution.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation, customer requirements, proposals, and quotations.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion.
