This opportunity combines the resources and stability of a global engineering organization with the collaborative culture of a smaller facility, offering engineers hands-on project ownership, customer interaction, and the ability to make a direct impact on products and operations.Job DescriptionLead engineering projects from concept, design, and prototype development through production launchDesign and develop mechanical and fluid handling products to meet customer and operational requirementsInterface directly with customers to understand technical requirements and provide project updatesEvaluate product designs for compliance with engineering standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing capabilitiesReview and approve design changes, drawings, and engineering documentationUtilize CAD software to create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings and product documentationCoordinate prototype builds, testing activities, and product validation effortsAnalyze test results and implement design modifications as necessaryCollaborate with manufacturing teams to improve product designs, processes, and operational efficiencySupport continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, manufacturing performance, and cost reductionManage engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, ECNs, and controlled recordsProvide technical support for existing products, manufacturing processes, and customer applicationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
