Job Description

The responsibilities of a Project Executive:

  • Lead large-scale construction projects from planning through project closeout.
  • Provide strategic oversight of project teams, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
  • Manage project execution while ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee estimating, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial performance.
  • Direct project staffing and mentor team members to support growth and development.
  • Collaborate with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive successful project delivery while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
  • Identify challenges proactively and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, contractual obligations, and company standards.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Executive should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 15+ years of construction industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working with a general contractor.
  • Proven experience leading projects ranging from $75 million to $500 million+.
  • Diverse project background including renovations and large ground-up construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, project controls, accounting, document management, and industry practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and empower others to achieve results.
  • Experience with scheduling software and construction technology platforms.
  • Experience with Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam preferred.
  • LEED project experience or certification exposure preferred.
  • Strong commitment to client service, professionalism, and ethical leadership.
