The Project Executive, Mechanical/Infrastructure will lead civil infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout. Ensuring projects meet time, budget, safety, quality, and client expectations-while mentoring junior team members. This PX will oversee multuple projects at a time and report directly to senior leaders. This candidate should be based in the DMV area able to commute to site visits as needed.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Lead Project Management teams comprised of (PM/Super/APM/Engineers)
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Executive should have:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Preferred)
    • Experience:
      • 10+ years in construction, especially infrastructure/civil projects.
      • Proven history managing full project lifecycle and change orders.
      • At least 7 years supervisory experience leading teams.
    • Skills:
      • Strong negotiation and relationship-building with clients and subs.
      • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Office).
      • Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
    • Attributes:
      • Self-motivated with strong work ethic in fast-paced settings.
      • Passion for civil construction and professional development
