Job Description

The responsibilities of a Project Executive:

  • Lead higher education construction projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Oversee project teams, schedules, budgets, and overall project execution
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client satisfaction
  • Drive project profitability while managing risk and quality standards
  • Coordinate with operations, preconstruction, design teams, and field leadership
  • Monitor project performance and proactively resolve challenges
  • Mentor and develop project management staff
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on project strategy and resource planning
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Support business growth through excellent project delivery and client retention

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Executive should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10-12+ years of commercial construction experience
  • General Contractor experience required
  • Experience leading higher education projects from start to finish
  • Proven experience managing projects exceeding $30 million
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering profitable projects and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam
  • Working knowledge of Primavera scheduling and BIM processes
  • Strong Senior Project Managers with relevant project experience will also be considered
