A leading national general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale multifamily and mixed-use developments throughout Miami. This leadership role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong track record of managing complex projects, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Provide executive oversight for multifamily and mixed-use construction projects in Miami.
  • Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for ownership groups and development partners.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
  • Support preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, estimating review, value engineering, and procurement strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and quality objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company standards, and safety requirements.
  • Participate in business development efforts and assist with client pursuits and proposal presentations.
  • Mentor and develop project leadership teams to support organizational growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, project delivery, and client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a strategic construction leader who can successfully balance client relationships, team development, project execution, and financial performance. This individual should possess strong multifamily experience, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to drive results across multiple large-scale developments simultaneously.

  • 10+ years of construction management experience, including leadership responsibility on large multifamily projects.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Proven success managing multifamily developments valued at $50M+.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
