Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Leading day-to-day on-site operations for a $5M library construction project
  • Overseeing both renovation and base building scopes with precision and safety
  • Developing and managing project schedules using tools like P6
  • Coordinating subcontractors, trades, and field teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintaining strict adherence to OSHA and site safety standards
  • Collaborating with the Project Executive and broader project team
  • Utilizing Procore and Bluebeam to manage documentation and communication
  • Managing potential evening or weekend work as project demands evolve
  • Ensuring quality control and project milestones are consistently achieved

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 10+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience managing renovation and ground-up projects up to $20M
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
  • Proficiency in P6, Procore, and Bluebeam
  • OSHA certification with a strong safety-first mindset
  • Background in the trades or hands-on field experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and drive project progress autonomously
  • Flexibility to accommodate extended hours if needed
