Job Description

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality, environmental, and operational management systems.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through effective system management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits while driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Host and support external audits from customers, certification bodies, and compliance organizations.
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality manuals, procedures, processes, and documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Deliver training and guidance on management systems, quality standards, and process controls.
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for OEM customers, managing daily quality activities and expectations.
  • Analyze returned products, identify trends, and drive product and process improvements.
  • Prepare and manage PPAP documentation and material compliance submissions.
  • Facilitate FMEAs, risk assessments, and other core quality tools to support product and process development.
  • Support customer environmental requests, surveys, and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in production and project meetings to address quality performance and continuous improvement opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in quality systems, compliance, or management systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Auditing experience with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and improving management systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of PPAP, FMEA, risk analysis, and core quality methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers and customer-specific quality requirements preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
