This position oversees two direct reports and serves as a key member of the leadership team, participating in strategic planning discussions and helping shape organizational decisions.

Job Description

  • Experienced leader with proven work managing quality and safety programs (manufacturing environment preferably).
  • Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture, align initiatives with organizational goals, and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Hands-on and approachable leader who is present within the facility and comfortable engaging directly with production teams.
  • Strong problem solver with expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and preventive measures.
  • Customer-focused professional capable of handling quality concerns, audits, investigations, and difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Effective communicator who can build credibility and trust with employees, management, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Leader and mentor who develops accountability, ownership, and engagement throughout the organization.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Results-oriented leader who uses data and metrics to identify trends, prioritize actions, and achieve measurable improvements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experienced people manager
  • Background in manufacturing
  • Experience managing safety initiatives
  • Experience with packaging and/or corrugated environments is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience with ISO 9001 is preferred
