Job Description

  • Review and interpret customer specifications to ensure product compliance
  • Provide technical and metallurgical support to manufacturing operations
  • Analyze production data to identify quality issues and drive process improvements
  • Conduct internal audits and support maintenance of the quality management system
  • Investigate product nonconformance and lead root cause and corrective action efforts
  • Partner with operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
  • Maintain quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, and related systems
  • Respond to customer complaints and support resolution of quality issues
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and trials
  • Generate quality reports, lead meetings, and perform daily floor audits

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's or technical degree (flexible based on experience)
  • 1+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly operations
  • Experience working with quality systems such as ISO 9001 (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
  • Exposure to metals, steel, or heavy industrial manufacturing (preferred)
