Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate daily inspection activities across multiple manufacturing areas.
  • Ensure first article, in-process, and final inspections are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage the identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to quality inspectors and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with production and assembly leadership to resolve workflow and quality challenges.
  • Support new product and component inspection planning, including measurement strategies and tooling requirements.
  • Monitor departmental metrics and implement improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support broader quality-related projects.
  • Develop, mentor, and evaluate members of the inspection team.
  • Assist leadership with workforce planning, performance management, and team development.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience programming and operating CMM equipment using PC-DMIS.
  • Background inspecting machined components and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a quality or manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with quality documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
