It also designs and builds tooling and dies, producing high-volume components for the automotive, aerospace, electrical, appliance, transportation, and heavy equipment industries.Job DescriptionReview specifications for products or processes.Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes that affect the quality of the organization's products.Handle and resolve product and service quality issues with customers and suppliers.Manage process and product audits, testing, and inspections to lead the team in continuous improvement initiatives and processes.Oversee inspection of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements.Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.Look for opportunities to develop new or improve existing procedures and processes.Supervise QC department staff and provide guidance and feedback.Supervise inspections, reports, and the documents issued by inspectors, and collect and file the required quality records.Be responsible for the accurate and timely inspection and calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.Stay up to date on applicable industry standards, regulations, laws, issues, and news related to product and service quality.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.Recommend ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure the highest-quality products.Support and participate in all external and internal audits.Perform internal audits, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements.Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and legal obligations.Initiate supplier nonconformance (NC) reports, manage them to timely closure, monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implement corrective actions as needed, and collaborate with suppliers to improve the quality of their products and services.Strictly follow safety regulations during all activities, keeping equipment in proper working condition to prevent hazards and protect employees.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
