We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support the manufacture of highly reliable aerospace and defense products in a regulated environment. This role will lead quality initiatives, root cause investigations, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering closely with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers.

Job Description

  • Lead quality engineering activities supporting highly regulated manufacturing operations.
  • Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for product and process nonconformances.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, test procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits while maintaining documentation accuracy.
  • Monitor production quality metrics and utilize data-driven methodologies to improve performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on process capability, efficiency, and product reliability.
  • Support configuration-controlled manufacturing environments and quality system requirements.
  • Provide quality guidance on production-impacting decisions and risk mitigation activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of Quality Engineering experience within aerospace, defense, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL-STD requirements, and regulated quality systems.
  • Experience supporting flight-qualified, high-reliability, or mission-critical products.
  • Proven expertise leading root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and nonconformance management.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • US Person status required due to ITAR regulations.
