Job Description

  • Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and control systems.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse warranty claims, customer feedback, and supplier performance to drive corrective actions.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve product quality and reduce defects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, certification requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and implement product testing methods and quality assurance processes.
  • Manage the calibration, maintenance, and performance of test and production equipment.
  • Lead corrective and preventative action initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns.
  • Support the development and improvement of manufacturing methods, processes, and equipment.
  • Provide technical expertise and quality support across products and operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with electrical products is highly desirable; lighting industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers.
