Job Description

  • Lead quality engineering activities to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Drive root cause investigations, corrective actions, and non-conformance management processes.
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, test procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Analyze quality data and recommend improvements using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ensure quality documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Provide guidance on quality requirements, compliance, and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of quality engineering experience within aerospace, defense, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related quality management systems.
  • Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process capability analysis, or structured problem-solving tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Minitab and quality certifications are advantageous.
  • Must be eligible to work with controlled technical data in accordance with applicable regulations.
