With approximately 200 employees, the company is committed to quality, continuous improvement, strong customer service, and robust APQP/PPAP-driven quality systems.Job DescriptionAnalyze nonconforming conditions in production to determine root cause.Communicate with process owners to resolve nonconforming conditions by developing or facilitating corrective and preventive actions.Summarize and report nonconformance information and evaluate trends and major causes.Summarize and report defect analyses, corrective actions, implementations status, and effectiveness.Develop and document control plans which define verifications during production to ensure all state requirements are met.Develop and document inspection and verification procedures for use by department personnel.Develop and document PPAP paperwork.Take ownership of corrective/preventative actions (i.e., 8-D's, CAR's).Develop production methods for new and existing work.Complete immersion in personal and business continuous improvement.Participate in APQP for new and existing work.Develop internal process control plans for new and existing work.Use advanced statistical knowledge for problem solving and data analysis.Plan and document studies of measurement repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) and process capability.Perform internal audits of the quality system and verification activities; and supplier audits as requested.Use inspection, measuring, and test equipment as necessary.Participate in company quality improvement activities.Perform other duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
