They are ISO 9001:2015 certified and are experiencing steady growth as they add to their team.Job DescriptionDevelop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans for CNC-machined thermal products (including on-site foundry, machining and electrical assembly)Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate quality planningLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer quality issuesSupport first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspectionsWork closely with CNC machinists, programmers, and supervisors to resolve quality concerns and improve processesAnalyze quality data and trends (scrap, rework, nonconformances) and recommend process improvementsManage nonconforming material reports (NCMRs) and coordinate disposition activities, both internal rejects and external customer returns (RMA)Assist with customer, internal, and third-party audits (e.g., ISO 9001)Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and measurement equipmentSupport supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluations and corrective actionsSupport customer-specific quality initiatives and work closely with customer supplier engineers (calls, meetings, emails, projects)Implement and maintain statistical methodologies for process improvement (SPC, etc.)Train production and inspection personnel on quality standards and best practicesDaily collaboration with other internal departments, including sales, customer service, engineering, purchasing, and productionLead / direct the shop-floor quality team (Quality Techs and Inspectors), including training, setting priorities, addressing technical challenges, etc.Perform other tasks and special projects as needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
