Job Description

  • Drive quality improvement by analyzing scrap, rework, and warranty data
  • Lead root cause analysis using structured methods (8D, A3, 5-Why, DMAIC)
  • Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and statistical process controls
  • Partner with engineering and production to implement preventative quality solutions
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits, SCARs, and capability improvement
  • Act as the main contact for customer quality issues, resolving field and warranty concerns

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-7 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering within a production environment
  • Strong background in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with SPC, process capability, and measurement systems analysis
  • Proven experience managing supplier quality, audits, and PPAP processes
  • Familiarity with FMEA, control plans, and ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data using Excel or statistical tools (Minitab preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) required
  • Six Sigma or ASQ certification preferred
