The Quality Engineer will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards across manufacturing processes and products. This position is responsible for supporting PPAP submissions, leading root cause investigations, and driving corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Issue and follow up on all internal, customer and supplier corrective actions. Generate a weekly report on the status of all corrective actions.
  • Assist Quality Control Manager in PPAP's and annual resubmissions of active parts.
  • Directs workers engaged in measuring, testing, and tabulating data concerning quality and reliability.
  • Control suppliers ISO and IATF certifications making sure those suppliers are up to date.
  • Keep MRB cage current.
  • Update QIP's when necessary.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing experience within quality
  • Experience with APQP
  • Experience with IATF 16949
  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAPs
  • Metal stamping experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Sponsorship is not provided
