Job Description

  • Develop and optimize CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS and other metrology software to support inspection requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications to establish inspection strategies and quality standards.
  • Perform first article inspections, PPAPs, measurement system analysis, and gage R&R studies.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, and customer-specific quality records.
  • Partner with engineering, machining, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements while supporting operational growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands-on CMM programming experience is required, with PC-DMIS experience MANDATORY
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer or related manufacturing quality role.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, dimensional inspection, and metrology practices.
  • Experience working within AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Background in quality inspection, statistical analysis, and process validation within manufacturing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving initiatives with minimal supervision.
