Job Description

  • Lead quality initiatives including APQP activities such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation
  • Develop and implement inspection plans, gage R&R studies, and statistical process control (SPC) systems
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and process efficiency
  • Oversee and enhance Quality Management System (QMS) operations to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards and conduct audits to maintain quality excellence
  • Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and methodologies, including training internal teams
  • Perform root cause analysis (8D investigations) and lead corrective action processes

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree (B.S. or A.S.) in Engineering or a related discipline REQUIRED
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001, AS9100, and PPAP
  • Hands-on experience with machining processes and inspection techniques
  • Proficiency in SPC, MSA studies, geometric tolerancing, and gage calibration
  • Experience leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
