Job Description

  • Support and maintain the organization's quality management system and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in internal, external, and customer-facing quality audits while helping ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and improve quality processes, inspection methods, and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate product and process quality issues using data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Drive quality planning activities, including risk assessments, control plans, process documentation, and validation efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor quality metrics and provide timely reporting to support operational and business objectives.
  • Lead or support problem-solving efforts related to inspection results, customer concerns, and process performance.
  • Assist with new product launches and ongoing production by ensuring quality requirements are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

    • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
    • Experience with customer quality requirements, corrective actions, and quality improvement projects.
    • Experience supporting APQP, PPAP, product validation, or new product launches preferred.
    • Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or similar quality management systems preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Working knowledge of quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and process capability analysis.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
