Job Description

  • Oversee and continuously improve the organization's Quality Management System
  • Lead internal audits, calibration, NDT, supplier quality, and HS&E initiatives
  • Drive defect reduction using DMAIC and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Manage root cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D processes
  • Serve as the primary quality interface for customer concerns and improvements
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards
  • Optimize supplier performance and total cost of ownership strategies
  • Lead gauge control and calibration processes across the site
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive operational and quality excellence

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ year's experience in a quality leadership role (aerospace preferred)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt minimum (Six Sigma Belt strongly preferred)
  • Strong expertise in GD&T, blueprint reading, and interpretation
  • Proven leadership capability, including influencing without authority
  • Excellent communication and team development skills
  • Strong knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, and core quality tools
  • Experience managing supplier quality and performance
  • Self-starter with ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
