Our client is a is a highly respected precision machining and assembly manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Known for working with complex materials and tight tolerances, they operate in a fully certified AS9100D, ISO 9001, and ITAR-regulated environment where quality and performance are mission-critical.

Job Description

  • Lead and maintain AS9100D and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Manage internal, customer, and certification audits
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR and customer requirements
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Oversee nonconformance, supplier quality, and complaints
  • Track and report quality KPIs and metrics
  • Partner with Ops, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
  • Support NPI and process validation activities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop quality team members
  • Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in quality leadership within manufacturing
  • AS9100D and/or ISO 9001 experience
  • Proven audit leadership (internal + external)
  • Strong root cause and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read drawings, specs, and GD&T
  • Strong communication and leadership skills



Preferred:

  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
  • CNC machining or precision manufacturing background
  • CQE, CMQ/OE, Lean, or Six Sigma certification
