Quality Manager - Aerospace - Suffield, CT

• Lead, implement, and enhance the Quality Management System aligned to industry standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
• Set and execute quality strategies that improve operational performance and product excellence
• Oversee inspection processes across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Drive resolution of nonconformances through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partner cross-functionally on new product introduction, ensuring robust quality planning
• Manage supplier quality performance, including qualification and issue resolution
• Act as primary contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Lead audit readiness and maintain required certifications
• Develop, mentor, and grow a high-performing quality team
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
