The company prides itself on its family-oriented culture and provides employees with direct access to executive leadership and ownership, encouraging input on strategic initiatives and decision-making.Job DescriptionLead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ongoing effectiveness and compliance with organizational objectives.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and applicable quality regulations.Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program, driving timely resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee incoming inspection and verification activities, including the effective use of Certificates of Conformance (CoC), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and inspection/testing data to ensure supplier quality.Administer the calibration and verification program for measurement and test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.Maintain ISO 9001 certification and serve as the primary liaison with certification bodies and external auditors.Coordinate maintenance and verification of quality control equipment to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.Direct the control, disposition, and documentation of nonconforming material and products.Provide recommendations to management regarding tooling, fixturing, and error-proofing solutions to address process and product quality concerns.Manage the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process, ensuring thorough investigation, implementation, and follow-up of corrective actions.Oversee document control systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.Initiate and track corrective actions resulting from internal audit findings, including verification of effectiveness through follow-up audits.Lead quality data collection, analysis, and reporting activities, including audit performance, customer complaints, corrective action trends, and management review preparation.Provide Quality Management System support and guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams as needed.Perform and document daily customer-specific product inspections and dimensional measurements to verify conformance to requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
