U.S.-based, family-owned international manufacturer specializing in high-quality iron castings and machining solutions for industries such as automotive, agriculture, construction, and heavy equipment.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation and records.
  • Train staff on quality standards and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and certifications.Lead the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with customer and IATF requirements.
  • Manage and develop the Quality team.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and resolve quality concerns.
  • Lead corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, and other automotive quality tools.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to improve quality performance.
  • Monitor quality metrics and manufacturing processes to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
  • Support audits and maintain quality system compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership in foundry and automotive manufacturing quality processes..

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of Quality Management experience
  • Foundry experience
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
  • Experience managing customer quality and supplier quality activities
  • Proven leadership experience managing quality teams
