Job Description

  • Keep the site's quality framework up to date and make sure it continues to work well day to day, acting as the main point of contact for the ISO-based system
  • Plan and run management review sessions, keeping records organized and sharing clear updates with leadership on how the system is performing
  • Support and grow a strong safety mindset across the plant through hands-on training and practical initiatives
  • Carry out regular safety checks against internal standards and follow through on any gaps
  • Look into workplace incidents to understand what happened and help prevent repeat issues
  • Set direction for product quality and ensure output meets agreed requirements
  • Oversee product checks at each stage, from incoming materials through to final release
  • Manage non-conforming material, making sure anything out of spec is controlled and contained
  • Lead follow-up actions on quality or process issues and keep them on track through to completion
  • Handle customer concerns in a responsive, solutions-focused way
  • Work with teams to keep documentation accurate, stored correctly, and easy to access
  • Stay involved in new product introductions to assess feasibility and readiness, including early-stage reviews
  • Support pre-production approvals as required by customers
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, including data-driven monitoring and review processes
  • Operate with direct access to leadership to raise and resolve quality-related issues
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree is heavily preferred
  • Experience working in Plastics (Injection Molding, Transfer, Compression Molding, Extrusion) or Rubber
  • Strong experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 OR AS9100
  • Training and experience with SPC, Corrective Actions and Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience overseeing or being a part of EHS initiatives
