The organization offers an opportunity to join a collaborative team and make a direct impact on quality processes and operational performance.Job DescriptionLead quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing and fabrication operations.Perform and oversee inspections of components, welds, and assemblies.Conduct and/or oversee NDT activities, including VT, MT, PT, and UT.Perform dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools.Interpret and apply applicable AWS, ASME, AWWA, and ISO standards.Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.Develop and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).Oversee welder qualification and certification programs.Review and approve WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs.Ensure compliance with applicable welding codes and customer specifications.Partner with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes.Track quality metrics and implement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and waste.Provide quality and welding-related training to production and quality teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
