We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing, fabrication, welding, and assembly operations. This hands-on leadership role will oversee compliance, inspections, corrective actions, quality systems, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional product quality.

Job Description

  • Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee inspections of fabricated components, weldments, and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements.
  • Manage non-destructive testing processes and dimensional inspection activities.
  • Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality procedures.
  • Manage welder qualifications, certifications, and welding documentation requirements.
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.

The Successful Applicant

  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
  • 7+ years of quality experience within manufacturing, fabrication, or welding environments.
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with non-destructive testing methods and quality management systems.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • ISO 9001 and continuous improvement experience preferred.
