The company has built its reputation around quality, responsiveness, technical expertise, and the ability to provide customers with highly customized solutions.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, privately held manufacturing organization where the Quality Manager will have meaningful visibility and the opportunity to influence quality systems, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.Job DescriptionLead and oversee quality activities across multiple locations, ensuring consistent standards, processes, and performance.Maintain and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with applicable ISO and industry requirements.Serve as a key resource for quality-related regulatory, customer, and government requirements.Manage compliance requirements related to government contracting, supplier qualifications, and applicable trade or regulatory programs.Lead internal, external, customer, and supplier audits, including preparation, execution, corrective actions, and follow-up.Drive successful completion of quality system audits and maintain compliance with applicable certifications and standards.Develop, monitor, and report quality metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Lead root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Coordinate customer, supplier, and management quality meetings and ensure timely follow-through on action items.Oversee material and product testing through qualified external laboratories and testing providers.Support customer and government source inspections and serve as a primary quality contact during inspections.Manage the disposition and resolution of customer, supplier, and material-related quality issues.Lead the annual management review process and coordinate internal quality audits.Ensure required equipment calibration and quality records are maintained in accordance with established procedures.Provide training and guidance to employees on quality systems, procedures, standards, and best practices.Interpret and provide guidance on applicable industry specifications and standards, including ASTM, SAE, AMS, and other relevant requirements.Partner with operations, sales, purchasing, and leadership to proactively identify quality risks and implement effective solutions.Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-focused quality throughout the organization.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
