Job Description

  • Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Interpret and apply industry standards to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to establish and maintain customer-specific quality standards.
  • Manage and improve the company-wide quality management system across multiple facilities.
  • Prepare for and support customer audits, ensuring ongoing compliance and operational excellence.
  • Utilize metrology and inspection techniques to validate product quality and performance.
  • Analyze quality trends and generate reports that drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain quality documentation and update procedures to reflect changing business and customer needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong expertise in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing quality systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong technical and computer skills, including experience with databases and reporting tools.
  • Experience conducting and supporting both internal and external audits.
  • Professional quality certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ASTM, SAE, and ANSI standards preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with metal, industrial, or engineered products is advantageous.
