This role leads all quality activities across manufacturing, supplier management and compliance in a regulated production environment. You'll own the Quality Management System while partnering closely with engineering and operations to drive continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
  • Act as Management Representative, reporting on quality performance and compliance at leadership level
  • Lead internal audits, CAPA, management reviews and customer complaint processes
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to introduce new testing methods and assembly processes
  • Establish and maintain product, process and raw material quality standards
  • Oversee in‑process inspection, product testing and dimensional verification
  • Manage supplier quality performance and corrective actions
  • Support new and transferred projects using APQP, PPAP and IQ/OQ/PQ methodologies
  • Lead, develop and mentor the Quality team, ensuring consistent interpretation of quality standards
  • Promote quality awareness through training and cross‑functional collaboration

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and regulated manufacturing environments
  • Hands‑on experience with SPC tools (Minitab) and advanced metrology equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and supplier quality improvement
