Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001
  • Lead quality assurance and quality control activities within the injection molding process, including in-process inspections, first article inspections, and final audits.
  • Analyze quality data (scrap, defects, customer complaints) to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and tooling teams to improve process capability, reduce variation, and enhance product quality.
  • Oversee customer quality requirements, including PPAPs, control plans, FMEAs, and capability studies.
  • Manage internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
  • Lead and develop the quality team, including inspectors and technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and drive resolution in a timely manner.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • 5+ years of quality experience within manufacturing
  • Experience with injection molding processes
  • Metrology experience (micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.)
  • Sponsorship not provided
